Chapter 4: Battle Stations
Hera's POV
Her was extremely nervous. She had no doubt that they could escape, she was worried about how much fighters and people they were going to lose to get off the planet. There were people everywhere, running about through the corridors while the sound of blaster fire and the occasional rumble shook the building. In the 3 months since they had come here, they had gained so much more pilots, ships and much more material and they had really built this base up but today they would all be tested or destroyed.

"Your mission is to eliminate the 2 Jedi on Atollon and after you have succeeded, return to my ship immediately!" Vader said to her. She was in her Star-fighter on her way down to the planet and she couldn't wait to get back in action. "Yes my Lord" she said bowing her head to show her respect. She had heard about these 2 Jedi, Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger. They were part of the growing rebellion that opposed The Empire and it was her pleasure to wipe them from the face of the Galaxy.
Rex's POV
Rex knew his station. They had practiced a retreat nearly every day in case this happened. His job was to head to one of the turrets and blast as many TIE's as he could to allow the fleet to escape and then Kanan and Ezra would pick him up in The Phantom. He had preformed numerous escapes during The Clone Wars and this was no different except that each time he destroyed a ship, he would keep Ahsoka in mind, he would make sure her sacrifice wasn't for nothing.
His turret position was all the way at the top of the base and therefore was more exposed to enemy fire but he also had more opportunity to shoot than other rebels. During the war he would have just shoot anywhere hoping he would get a ship but this time he made sure he shot as many as he could and he made sure to aim with perfection. For Ahsoka he thought over and over again.
Darth Vader's POV
Vader sat in his meditation pod letting himself become one with the force while the battle raged on down below. All of a sudden he felt a disturbance in the force and sat up breathing heavily. He had no idea what it was but he knew he had to do something about it. As he got out of the pod, he turned to the nearest Stormtrooper, "Prepare my ship for take off"

She landed her ship perfectly bashing the rebel base and got out to watch the battle in front of her. TIE fighters were coming form every direction while Rebel fighters were making there way off ground trying to escape. She tapped into the force to try and find where these 2 Jedi could be and through her connection found them heading up to the top of the base. "It's Showtime" she as she started running and jumping up.
Ezra's POV
"Come on Ezra! We have to get The Phantom and get Rex" Kanan yelled from outside his room. "Just a minute, I'm grabbing some supplies" Ezra lied. He was actually grabbing the Sith Holocron he had obtained on Malachor. The day that they had arrived back, he had opened it but it shut immediately on him and he was determined to open it again. As soon as he shoved it in his pocket, he bolted out of his room and they two of them headed to pick up Rex.
Rex's POV
"TAKE THAT" Rex shouted as he shot yet another TIE fighter out of the sky and kept up his streak. He heard a ship approach and knew that it would be Kanan and Ezra coming to pick him up but when he turned around, it wasn't The Phantom at all, it was a TIE fighter, or more specifically, an Inquisitor ship. He took a few steps away from his turret and closer to the ship to see who would pop out. He had his hands in his blasters ready to shoot if need be when out of the blue a figure leaped out and jumped on top of him making Rex fall over. He was unable to get up for this person had her lightsabers around his neck and was on top of him. "Who are you?" Rex barked trying not to sound scared, "your worst nightmare"
